1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made with La Folie ("La Folie", "we", "us"). It works alongside La Folie's Terms of Use. By confirming a booking, the client accepts this Policy.
2. Deposits
To confirm a booking, La Folie requires a non-refundable deposit (typically 50% of the total event fee, communicated at the point of quotation). The deposit secures the team, the date, and the venue resources reserved for the event.
3. Cancellation Schedule
Cancellations are charged based on the time between notification and the event date:

"Balance" refers to the total event fee minus the deposit.
4. Rescheduling
La Folie understands plans change. Rescheduling requests are handled as follows:
- Rescheduling requested 14+ days before the event: free of charge, subject to team availability on the new date.
- Rescheduling requested less than 14 days before: La Folie will do its best to accommodate; an administrative fee may apply.
- Rescheduling on the day of the event is treated as a cancellation under the schedule above.
5. Cancellation by La Folie
In the rare event that La Folie cancels a booking, the client will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including any deposit, or, at the client's preference, the booking will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
6. Weather & Force Majeure
If an event cannot proceed due to extreme weather, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or other events outside reasonable control:
- La Folie will work with the client to reschedule the event at no additional cost.
- If rescheduling is not practical, refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis, deducting only unavoidable costs already incurred (such as custom décor or supplier deposits).
7. Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed within fourteen (14) business days from the date of approval, using the same payment method the client used for the original transaction. Bank or card-processing delays beyond La Folie's control may extend this period slightly.
8. CDP & Multi-Session Programmes
For La Folie's Child Development Programmes and multi-session packages:
- Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to remain eligible to reschedule without penalty.
- Missed sessions without 24-hour notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Long-term packages may be paused, with written agreement, in cases of medical necessity or extended travel.
